Honey Calamansi Cupcakes

Servings 12 cupcakes

Ingredients
  

Cupcake

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 5 sachets Manila Gold Pure Calamansi

Frosting

  • 3 tbsps butter softened
  • 2 sachets Manila Gold Pure Calamansi
  • 1 tsp milk or more as needed
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar

Instructions
 

Cupcake

  • Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Mix milk and Manila Gold pure calamansi together in another bowl, set aside.
  • Cream butter and honey for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time and mix well
  • Add in milk mixture and flour mixture
  • Mix until well blended, don't over mix.
  • Scoop in non stick muffin pans.
  • Bake in preheated 350 degrees Farenheit for 18 - 23 minutes
  • cool down cupcakes before frosting

Frosting

  • Beat butter, calamansi and milk together until smooth
  • Beat confectioners sugar into butter mixture until desired consistency is reached.
  • Frost your cupcakes
