Manex to Present at AMBayArea Summit 2022
Manex is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the AMBayArea Summit 2022, which is hosted by the Association of Manufacturers Bay Area (AMBayArea). The 3rd annual AMBayArea Summit will be held at Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland on Tuesday, April 26, from 1 to 7 p.m. and feature breakout sessions by industry experts, a panel discussion, exhibit booths, and networking.
Manex will be presenting the breakout session Plant Automation: A Case Study With Ramar Foods. PJ Quesada, Vice President of Ramar Foods and Michael Shabaka, Ph.D., Director of Sales and Innovation Excellence for Manex will share how Ramar Foods, a specialty food manufacturer based in Pittsburg, utilized digital transformation and automation to address the challenges of increasing labor costs, a retiring workforce, company culture and, regulations. Attendees will hear how Manex helped management determine where and how to automate utilizing technology including, but not limited to robotics, IoT, vision assist, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
