We know those of you with grocery stores have had to change the way you service your customers to keep your employees safe. We admire your resilience and commitment to put these social distancing protocols in place.
We know that those of you with restaurants who rely on the patronage of visitors are among the hardest hit by social distancing. We applaud all who have pivoted their services to keep operating, and our hearts go out to those whose best option was to close their doors.
This Wednesday we anticipate the Governor of California to announce guidelines for what the next phase of social distancing will look like, and he has foreshadowed that there may be allowances for restaurants to re-open dine-in services with certain limitations and precautions needing to be in place. These announcements are usually given at noon. Reach out to your Ramar representative or watch out for a follow up email from us once the new guidelines are understood.
